You asked, and we listened! Needle felters often want small amounts of wool in a wide range of colors. Clean, high-quality, short-fiber merino is highly desirable. This carded Merino batting is exactly that. This merino wool is 23 microns (this refers to the thickness of the fiber), perfect for needle felting. The micron count is high enough that your needle holes will not show as much as they would with 19-micron wool. At the same time, it is fine enough to create lovely details, like thin tree branches, straight lines, and whiskers. The fiber is short-staple. In other words, the length of the fibers is short. This makes needle felting easier as you are not dealing with long strands of fiber. It is especially good for beginners. This is high-quality, beautiful wool. It comes in a lovely range of colors.

Select your color by using the drop-down menu on the right. Each color is sold separately in 10-gram packs for $2.95. This size is nice for needle-felted paintings and three-dimensional objects. If you are looking to make larger items, this weight may not be correct for you.
