This lovely collection contains 8 colors of carded Corriedale roving, .25 grams of each color for a total of 7 ounces. The roving is 29 -30 microns, carded, and the fibers are shorter in length. This makes it wonderful for 2-D and 3-D needle felting. Your needle holes are less likely to show, and the shorter fiber length is easier to control. The roving is a bit like batting in that the fibers are not combed straight and the length of the individual fibers is shorter. This roving is also good for wet felting and spinning. The colors have nice variation.
